Bill and Peach met at art college in Farnham in 1988, married in 1994 and now live and work in Northam.

Since leaving college in 1989, they have worked together on many large public art commissions in city centres (Roman Centurion, Southampton 1999; Portsmouth and Southsea Railway Station 1995; Green Lanes Shopping Centre 1991) and smaller scale pieces for one off exhibitions, galleries and private commissions.

Inspiration for the metal work is taken directly from their surroundings and Bill's fascination with fishing. Mild steel is the main material employed in constructing their sculptures, along with copper, brass and aluminium, which is cut out, beaten and shaped into wooden moulds, polished and heat treated and lacquered. Pieces of locally collected flotsam and driftwood are frequently taken as the starting point for several of their larger sculptures.
