Commissioning a unique piece from one of our own craftsmen could be the answer to any of these questions. The process should be interesting and enjoyable while the finished piece will give a lasting pleasure.
All our members undertake commissions - not just the furniture makers (who have tackled jewellery boxes, beds, kitchens and corporate showrooms), but also the potters (ceramic sculptures), metalworkers (an entrance gate for a pottery and a large sign for a public space) and glass-workers (sand blasted door panels).

You will have some idea of the high quality and variety of their work from the stock in the shop. Some of them have portfolios to give you a further idea of their capabilities.
One of the craftsmen is always on duty in the shop during opening hours, and nearly all our studios and workshops are within ten miles of Appledore so meetings with craftsmen can easily be arranged.
